Our website is for the German market, sorry, therefore it is currently available only in German. Below we have summarised some information for our partners and for whisky enthusiasts who can not read and understand German but are curious about our themed whisky tours. Please feel free to contact us for more information.

Whisky in Scotland - tasteful self-drive tours

"What is the ideal travel time?" A commonly asked question, and one almost impossible to answer. Every season provides attractions of its own. Even in winter, Scotland cannot become anymore authentic than a dram enjoyed beside an Inn's peat fire....as the locals know only too well. It is also when distilleries are at their busiest. Be it January or July, four or fourteen days, castle hotel or a cosy B&B with a honesty whisky bar, our "Discover The Taste of Scotland Tours" are flexible in every respect. For we know Scottish hospitality is available 12 months of the year. Just let us know when you would like to travel, which whiskies you prefer and what other experiences you wish to have, and you will receive your custom-tailored travel concept featuring so many tips to lots of places of interest and recommendations for restaurants and pubs. Remember: the organization of your travel day remains absolutely flexible. You decide depending on your mood, perhaps the weather conditions or even a whim how you design the day. We take care of hotel bookings and hired car reservations; but we can also arrange for the whole whisky programme if you wish. This is YOUR bespoke holiday and not some kind of a fixed schedule to suit the masses and carved in granite.

Whiskey in Ireland - tasteful self drive tours

Legend has it that Scotch whisky is spelled without the 'e' only to save the Scots the cost of the printing ink. But, seriously, while Scotsmen distil most of their whiskies only twice, some Irish whiskey is triple distilled. If you want to find an Irish that is double-distilled, like Scotch, then we can take you there, too. Points like this may sound a bit theoretical but you?ll get the hang of it once you are there and the whole process comes to life. Unlike Scotland the Irish production of almost a hundred different whiskeys concentrates on a rather limited number of locations: down south near Cork, in the east in Riverstown and in the Antrim-County way up north. Relatively new is that the distillery in Kilbeggan is producing again. For this roundtrip we book your hotels and hired car and you will get your individual travel concept. You'll find cosy pubs to enjoy traditional live music, show-distilleries, actually working plants and museums. You will try, among others, Jameson, Locke's, Bushmills and Tullamore. And what trip to Ireland would be complete without a Guinness? Experience all the exceptional places of interest of this lovely green island. Sure, the whiskeys will attract you, but be prepared to get carried away by the Irish way of life. In fact, there is some risk of addiction!

Whisky Exclusive - Scotland at its best!

Meandering through the Trossachs National Park, passing Loch Katrine and the grave of the national hero Rob Roy, the road leads into the very heart of nature. Eight miles on a remote single track road here seems like twice the distance at least; and at last you reach an exquisite little hotel that is famous for delicious dishes from a kitchen well-known beyond Scotland's frontiers. Who would expect such exclusivity in a farmhouse hiding in the middle of nowhere? Scotland is full of those unexpected pleasures that we specifically apply to design your individually tailored tours. Our focus is to offer something extraordinary, nothing that can be bought from off the shelf. These are the special experiences which go down as smoothly as an exceptional old malt... to provide your trip with a lingering finish. But, on the other hand, exclusivity does not necessarily mean expensive. Apart from quad tours, helicopter flights, golf, whisky incentives and luxurious hotels our exclusive programmes may also include softer ingredients like a whisky & wildlife programme with a private guide, your dream hotel with suites directly by the sea, the guesthouse with lavish hospitality, the private sailing tour, a trip with the fisherman, a tasting with a whisky VIP...

Chauffeur-driven Whisky Tours - Get the Spirit!

"Don't drink and drive", is a bit of a challenge, when it comes to a whisky roundtrip and no one wants to miss out on a dram. With your personal chauffeur you're on the save side and everyone can enjoy a relaxed trip. We arrange your tours with a chauffeur guide, be it for two in a car, for mini groups up to 8 persons in a van, a midi bus with up to 16 guests or a coach with driver and additional guide. Programme and accommodations will be matched according to your preferences; feel free to get some orientation from our advertised tours. Check the back of this leaflet to get inspired. Whether you want to travel just for fun, specialise on whisky alone, like to have other cultural topics included, experience a compact roundtrip workshop on Scotland's whisky, which means a chauffeur guided tour with specially qualified tastings... You decide! In terms of content the aspiration is to offer premium-quality with our educational tours for whisky pros and connoisseurs. Our travel guides are professionally qualified. But don't worry, as rich in substance the trip might get, you surely will not lack the spirit. Equipped with thirst for knowledge, a curious nose, a discerning palate and your private chauffeur you are ready to kick-off and the rolling whisky workshop is all yours.

Whisky and Pubs - Bon Vivant themed City Tours

Fancy a quick escape from everyday life and a city tour with a special theme? Apart from hotel reservations in your favoured category, our whisky & pub tours include quite a lot of ad-ditional insider tips. This is your personal guide to explore Edinburgh, Dublin and other historic cities steeped in tradition and folklore. It will help you to discover the highlights and places of interest but also local curiosities off the beaten track. Feel free to contact us and we will be happy to plan your custom-made city tour.

Whisky and Golf - Active recreation with a handicap

That's what a short trip to Scotland should be like! Arrive and take a deep breath - have a round of golf or a lovely stroll and finish the evening with a glass of fine whisky. Ross Priory at Loch Lomond offers all you need for intensive relaxation like this at a very reasonable price. The manor house on the banks of Loch Lomond dates from 1693 and is surrounded by a park and a nine-hole golf course. You wish more exclusive places such as Gleneagles or St. Andrews? We will be pleased to assist you!

Whisky and Chocolate - Prefer a Sweeth Tooth to a Hangover?

If so, than Berlin goes to the extremes. Nowhere else in Germany you will find so many gastronomically creative concepts, expert-assisted whisky shops, tiny niche chocolate speciality shops to compliment the biggest chocolate house worldwide. Let us tempt you to a view on the capital city from a very different angle: there is more to Berlin than the Brandenburger Tour. A romantic weekend with a whisky and chocolate tasting will be perfect for those who love to pamper their sensual side.

Whisky and Romance - Isle of Ewe. Say: "I love you!"

This declaration of love leads directly way up into the Northwest Highlands to Loch Ewe. A beautiful landscape surrounded by the lashing, roaring sea, strolls along picturesque bays, hours by the fireside far away from everyday life. Waking up in a four-poster bed your eyes keep wandering to the bay, out to the Isle of Ewe and back: "I love you"! Welcome to one of the most romantic hotels of the world. Did we mention they have an excellent whisky bar? Something we set great value upon with all our hotels.

Whisky and Castles - Very Scottish: My dram is my castle

Keep going straight, leave the whisky shop behind, and then follow the long driveway passing by the impressive ruin on the left... One of our castle hotels is literally located in the middle of Speyside, an ideal point of departure for your whisky tours. We travel Scotland intensively and know what we offer from a personal point of view. If you prefer it the noble way, how about an entire castle just for you? When it comes to luxury the sky is the limit (well, almost!), but there is always a small but excellent solution.

Whisky-Weekends - Too precious to be given away!?

We do have quite a lot of requests concerning smart gift ideas related to whisky. For this very reason we have designed arrangements for whisky weekends, which need not be more costly than a bottle of decent single malt. It could hardly be a more idyllic setting with style than to indulge one's whisky passion in the heart of the Speyside: There is this little cosy place called Craigellachie, where the rivers Fiddich and Spey meet. Here, with our travel concept, you will experience pure whisky in a four-day visit.

Whisky-Events - A Get-Together of Enthusiasts

There are weekends, when whisky fans cannot resist from indulging in their passion. In Sweden they have the "Whisky and Beer Festival", in Germany we celebrate "Whiskyherbst Berlin" and "Finest Spirits Festival Munich". The season's highlight is "The Whiskyfair Limburg", a legendary whisky event and a must with fans from all over Europe. Where could you possibly get a wider range to choose from? During the presentations and tastings you can find out everything about whisk(e)y and you can try and buy from a huge variety. See you there!

Whisky-Professionel - A Dram with the Guru

How do you fancy a day with Jim Murray on Islay? Sure, we'd be happy to arrange that! With the "Whisky Bible" as your travel guide, personally signed by whisky guru Jim Murray himself, managers' tours in the distilleries or a private whisky get-together at teatime with a renown author: we want you to experience exactly what excites us as whisky fans. Because we specialise in whisky tours we have excellent contacts. Subscribe to our newsletter, and you'll get plenty of insider whisky travel tips!
